Position Overview

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a potential upcoming opportunity:
  • Facilitate the development of new software solutions and the transition of existing solutions from monolithic structures to micro-service structures operating within hardened containers.
  • Work with application development teams to refactor or create solutions that leverage the DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline and tools.
  • Deploys and sustains a microservices factory utilizing COTS and open-source solutions.

Position Duties

  • Facilitate development of new software solutions using DevSecOps best practices.
  • Support modernization efforts to transition monolithic systems into microservice-based architectures.
  • Build and maintain hardened container environments for secure deployment.
  • Work with application development teams to refactor or create CI/CD pipeline-compatible solutions.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to development teams throughout implementation.
  • Deploy and sustain a microservices factory using COTS and open-source solutions.
  • Support automated testing, deployment, and continuous integration activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Five (5) years of relevant experience
