Procurement Analyst – Journeyman

Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Procurement Analyst-Journeyman to assist our HHS government customer in providing non-inherently governmental acquisition support services to facilitate the award and administration of contracts, perform quality assurance across contracts, and provide budget support.

All functional duties shall be performed independently. Work may include, but is not limited to:
  • Assisting with keeping the acquisition MS SharePoint sites updated (e.g., uploading documents, reorganizing the display of information, and creating additional pages).
  • Assisting with the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) catch-up and clean-up efforts.
  • Industry engagement, coordination, and logistics.
  • Conducting Contracting Officer Representative (COR) file reviews.
  • Conducting contract pre-solicitation and pre-award reviews primarily on less complex contract actions.
  • Preparing and distributing the acquisition program dashboard.
  • Communications to customers and staff primarily on important acquisition updates
  • Assist Bureau Acquisition Career Manager (BACM) with communications, analytics, questions related to training and FAC-C/FAC-COR/FAC-P/PM certification requirements, and other BACM related needs.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Four to ten years of experience in federal procurement.
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree.
