Program Manager Certification: PMP Remote opportunity with easy access to Washington, DC
Nationwide IT Services is seeking a Program Manager (PM) for a potential opportunity providing program management support on our government customer systems task order. In this position, the PM provides normal project management functions including technical leadership, quality assurance, and decision-oriented recommendations. The PM is also responsible for ensuring all tasks identified in the Statement of Work are completed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with the requirements.
Program Management tasks include:
Preparing and maintaining a Project Management Plan
Monthly Status Reports
Quality Control Plan, Monthly Financial Reports
Monthly Program Reviews with the Government Program Office
Project schedule that aligns with the Program Management Plan
Contract Transition In/Transition Out Activities
The task order kick-off meeting is to review SOW requirements and understand the work scope and deliverables.
The PM may be requested to participate as a member of a government-led team.
PM will serve as liaison for the team with NIS HQ by performing such duties as approving timecards, reviewing task order invoices, and personnel management activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience with the software development life cycle.
Required Certification:
Project Management Professional (PMP), Portfolio Management Professional (pfMp), Program Management Professional (pgMp) or equivalent project or program management certification.
