Position Summary
Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Program Acquisition Manager for a potential opportunity to lead a contractor Information Technology (IT) acquisition process team with a focus on improving overall efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires deep knowledge of the IT Acquisition Lifecycle and the ability to manage and track milestone-driven activities.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the IT acquisition process team to ensure streamlined and effective operations.
- Provide expertise on the IT Acquisition Lifecycle, including milestone planning and oversight.
- Manage acquisition timelines, meeting schedules, and progress toward established milestones.
- Track and coordinate the collection, input, and processing of data received from customers and technical stakeholders.
- Identify discrepancies, potential risks, and resource considerations in collaboration with the government Program Manager.
- Drive process improvement efforts to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely submission of all acquisition-related information.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of experience in program management for Acquisition Category (ACAT) and non‑ACAT programs.
- Experience with the Information Technology Acquisition Lifecycle and MedLog Program Management Integration Support (PMIS2) milestones.
- Proven ability to manage, review, and analyze diverse acquisition and source documentation.
