Location: HQ - Fairfax, VA
Hybrid Remote – 3 days onsite per week
Nationwide IT Services seeks an experienced Capture Manager to join our Growth team.
The successful candidate will lead the capture of new business opportunities with organizations across the Federal Government. They will meet with potential customers to understand pain points and requirements for assigned deals. They will collaborate with senior leadership, solution architects, and technical resources from across the company to develop innovative solutions and coordinate with the Growth Lead and Proposal Manager to create winning proposals.
Years of Professional Experience: 7+ Years of experience in government contracting business development and capture.

They will collaborate with senior leadership, solution architects, and technical resources from across the company to develop innovative solutions and coordinate with the Growth Lead and Proposal Manager to create winning proposals.
- Develop and execute detailed plans to win specific opportunities.
- Develop and refine value propositions and win themes based on customer interactions, competitive intelligence, and core competencies.
- Monitor, research, and analyze the competitive landscape within both Defense and Civilian markets to create competitive advantages.
- Meet and engage with potential team partners as appropriate.
- Coordinate with solution architects, proposal resources, partners, and consultants to drive progress on active captures.
- Ensure that all bids are compliant with customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with multiple teams within the organization to create successful strategies.
- Provided input on technical, management, pricing, and partnering.
- Communicate and interface with senior leadership, mentor junior staff and peers on business development and capture processes.
- Proven track record of success in winning contracts in the Federal Government market, both Defense and Civilian.
- Demonstrated experience successfully working all areas of the capture lifecycle, milestones, and processes. Such activities include customer engagement, analysis, and relationship development, industry engagement and competitive analysis, capture plan development, win strategy execution, team development, marketing campaign leadership and gap analysis and solution advancement.
- Demonstrated understanding of pricing strategies, bid models, BOEs, and staffing plan development for a broad range of mission-focused and technology services and solutions.
- Ability to lead an opportunity capture and support multiple capture efforts simultaneously.
- Experience in proposal execution, development, and submission.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of government contracting regulations
- Strong working knowledge of Shipley or similar business development and capture management processes.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
